Bally's Black Rose from 1991 features the ever popular pinball theme of pirates, earning it legions of fans both young and old alike! The backglass depicts the fearsome female pirate Black Rose, atop her mighty ship. The pirate motif is reflected throughout the backglass, playfield, and subsequent game play, with a catchy sea faring tune, squawking parrot and cannon balls flying through the air! Players even get the chance to "Give 'em a broadside matey!", shooting a pinball at the ship from a rotating cannon turret underneath the playfield!
Black Rose has all of the features expected in a top 90's pinball - ramps, multi-ball, targets galore, even a long ramp straight down the center of the playfield that fires a pinball back at you from the mighty pirate ship's cannon! It also features THREE DIFFERENT video modes: Walk the Plank, Swing from the Riggings, and Knife Throw. Each of these utilize a button in the lock down bar which enables a skillful player to achieve their goal by correctly timing the correct moves. All in all, a very fun game to play!
Fully restored for plenty of trouble free play, Black Rose will keep you comig back for more! ARGHH!!!
